Looking for rental options in Denpasar

Dear all,

We are a group of students from Europe who are accepted to study at ISI
Denpasar as Darmasiswa scholarship awardees.

We were looking at renting a furnished house in Denpasar for a year starting 1. October 2011.

Being students, you can imagine our recourses are limited, circa
500000 RP - 750000 RP a month per person (without monthly expenses
like electricity, water, WiFi, security...). The number of people in
the group would depend on the number of bedrooms the house has, but 4
would be optimal. And if possible near the Institute.

Are there any offerings, suggestions, advice?

I am still a rookie at the forum so I can't PM you. I hope it is OK that I am responding publicly.

It sounds wonderful but I am sorry to disappoint you that it is out of my price range. At the moment I have a room booked at a kost near the ISI for IDR 800000 a month. However, I do know some students are dead set on renting a house and not a kost, so, if you'd like, I can share this information with them and we can see what happens?

I sort of made an educated guess and a few calculations but I understand completely what you are saying and I will be sure to point out the way you stand on this.
