Vigilante justice Bali style - violence warning

Not a big fan of "lynch justice" as in this case pedestrians just walk by, ask what's up and then stamp on the guy's head.

Not sure what this says about the Balinese character, if anything...
 
Agree it was rather severe and just imagine they had the wrong guy? He was not caught on the spot where it happened. On the other hand if he was the thief, I doubt he will be snatching any bags again in a hurry.
 
Diff is if a local stole something from a bule on Lombok most of the others would be cheering him on...
