hi, our last few trips in bali we met a lovely waiter at a restaurant there. he gave us some arak and a ornament with my partner and i's name on it. it was very sweet of him and this time we wanted to buy him a gift.

at first i thought something australian, as we are from perth. he has 2 small children. just concerned as i don't want to get something too expensive, as to offend or embaress him, but nothing condescending either such as 2nd hand clothes either. something that makes him happy and his family could use, something non bali.

I would buy something for the kids. Do you know there ages? Maybe something educational (toy) depending on how old they are.

If you get clothes for the kids kmart always has great stuff on clearance. And don't forget the long sleeved shirts and jumpers, my sister in law always wants warm clothes for her boy :) I'm sure the parents will love cash! Well that's the 2 things I always give.
