I didn't even know that there is such a thing as Bali Cider - is it like a proper cider made from apples? and gibbndip where is the Trophy Pub - next time I come down to "the big smoke" I would like to check them out.

Had a look in Splash, we'll try there bread shortly. I thought thier pies were a bit much, cheaper at the aussie butchers.
I havnt even noticed the Pantry and have been to Hardys a fair few times now
Like many Indonesian "bakers", their "bread" seems more like cake to me. Personally, I think their pies are bloody dreadful.

The Pantry sells much better bread. With your back turned to Hardy's, turn right, cross the road and walk about 20 metres or so. You'll pass a ceramics shop - next door is a large open-air restaurant. Pantry is right next door to it.

One of the best cake shops in Sanur is the tiny French one called Tutti-Frutti in the side-lane running alongside Jimmy's Bar (Jalan Pantai Sindhu). Excellent. Unfortunately, they don't bake bread.
