Sorry Jill but your posts are a bit difficult to read due to so many spelling errors, it puts me off a bit. No insult intended and you got at least one reply :)

kind of a strange question!... How much comming and going do you mean and for how long time each stay? If you gonna work in Indonesia you need a business visa or KITAs. You are not aloud to do any work on a regualar tourist visa.

Click on the VISA Indonesia link on the upper right corner... there you will find all info needed about various visas.

Jill

You are right in that it is not a English forum and I do appreciate that fingers and brain do not always work in unison. However if you read your mails before pressing the submit button it helps.

If people understand they will be better able to reply to help you.

Hi Guys & Gals,,
Im a newbie to this forum,,although I've been coming to Bali for the past 20 or more..I have a few business interests in Bali, safe, secure and have learnt from a lot of other peoples mistakes....

To Jill,
if you still want to get involved with Importing or setting up visa requirments.
My advice would be to get legal advice..
We have used in the past an Australian by the name of Peter Johnson for all our leagal documents,,and so on..
it never hurts to get some advice before you go into things that are very different from western ways of doing business in asia..
Just my opinion,,,others may have a better avenue for you..

Cheers

Sorry Jill, I'm not a shopper, so can't help.

I love Bali for lots of different reasons.... mostly the cultural aspects and the people. Shopping is one of my least favourite pastimes.

Jill, I agree with Thorsten, "BTF" is the best forum for shopping info. I know friends like to shop at Tragia in Denpasar for clothing and Geneva in Kerobokan for handicrafts.

My favourite massage venues are Verona Aesthetic in Ubud and Sicilia Spa in Seminyak. Staff are well trained, surroundings are very pleasant and both are reasonably priced. Not the cheapest, but great service. 8)

Jill,

I don't mean to sound rude, but it sounds like you haven't really done a lot of research regarding your new venture.
It sounds to me like you have had a wonderful idea but you haven't got much further than that. You mention you have your first tour planned for October, so have you organised any further than a drink with Roy and a Jazz night?

It sounds like you need to visit a visa specialist first, Bali IDE is highly recommended on this forum. These people will give you the specialist advice you need.

Most people that I know who have business in Bali have worked very hard for their contacts and information gathered has usually come at a high cost, either financially or time wise. You can't expect people here to just "give" you that information for nothing. You have to build relationships and earn respect first.

So if you want to do business in Bali and your goal is to live there you are really going to have to put the hard yards in yourself.

I wish you all the best of luck
