I am just absolutely amazed at the lack of infrastructure here for the options available for merchants and their banking requirements.
I am now starting a small business where a large part of that will be an eCommerce element. I cannot find any banks that work with PayPal, retracting money from a PayPal to a paired Indo bank, that question draws a blank in every bank I have been to thus far. Now I find that Permata doesn't even have the option for merchant accounts period!
So how do most people here work with online shopping options? I am seriously looking offshore IMA (Internet Merchant Accounts) in Singapore. Just wondering how an island such as Bali with the huge tourism revenues that come in, how the banks can be so limited in their services.
