Typing problems?

I'm trying to understand a typing problem I'm having only on this website so any help would be great.

Often but not always when I start typing here something gets into the keyboard and starts loading new and other websites - not hacky sites, just many of my own favorites and what I have on the browser - google, emails, etc.

It's not a big deal was only wondering if anyone else experiences this too before I buy a new keyboard that I possibly don't need and definitely don't want.

Nope, it's all good with mine.

reckon you need either

A new Keyboard

Stop drinking so early

Stop surfing those porn sites

Or possibly all 3

Try turning the keyboard upside down and smacking it. Maybe remnants of meals. Or a blast with compressed air might dislodge stuff if that were the cause. On the other hand if this doesn't happen with other web sites maybe consult a witch doctor. There is always something with computers and when it is an airline system or some institution there is mayhem.

sounds most likely that you have keyboard spillage related shorting (I'm not speculating on what was spilt) which is firing off some shortcut code but cannot completely rule out software or virus though it seems unlikely given what you have said.

Can you confirm if it's specific only to this website and further if its specific only to this website only on your default browser (ie try another browser than your default; Edge, chrome, brave, opera etc).

Rule out your physical keyboard by ideally both seeing if there's a soft(ware)-keyboard and using it (this may flash up any unwanted key presses) and also by plugging in an alternate physical keyboard and using this instead.

You can also try opening text editor and typing away to see if any indecipherable control codes inject themselves into your prose.

For sure clean out keyboard with compressed air, turning it upside down and banging it etc.

If all that fails its likely black-hat Ken messin with ya!

I'm old school . If doesn't look like a woman , feel like a woman, smell like a woman and dare I say taste like one then not interested in the non binary variety..
