Shew. I was hoping so. LoL. So I was looking at it, you mean to tell me, if (as of saturday I believe) $1USD = 9,638 rupiah and I paid 25,000,000/yr. for rent, I'm only looking at like $2,600USD or so a year? Wow. I could go for that, even if it were only like a little 2 or 3 room place near the beach (not necessarily on) with a bathroom and kitchen maybe..

You're correct in your conversions. The price depends on what part of Bali you're looking to live in. The north is quite cheap compared to the south. You'd have to ask Roy or someone else about Ubud, but my guess is that they have a wide range of places but obviously nothing near the beach.
