My wife is looking at registering her wedding company here soon and wants to know what the best option is as far license go. Any info on procedures and prices for a local would be greatly appreciated.
Just a CV if thats the best option, I don't think there is such a thing as a license to organize weddings
No license is required to be a wedding organizer. The best and the easiest option is to form a Perusahaan Perorangan or Perusahaan Dagang. Assuming she is Indonesian, she will be using her NPWP as her Tax ID for filing income taxes with the government.

To apply for Ijin Usaha Perorangan - I suggest you hire a Biro Jasa or a Notaris. When I applied for an UD (Usaha Dagang) for my minimarket 6 years ago my notary in Gianyar charged me Rp 2,000,000 - I though it was very high then, but now she charges 3.5 mill. Usaha Perorangan is the lowest in the hierarchy and is the easiest to form (and dissolve) - I believe the fee should be anywhere from Rp1,000,000 - Rp2,000,000.

BKT we didn't use a notaris for our UD, so a little paper work & no fees :icon_mrgreen:

Indeed, if you have the time and patience, do it yourself especially for something as simple as Perusahaan Perorangan - It will save you money. Personally, I don't have the time and could not be bothered by Indonesian beaurocracy.
