Laws in Bali?

Hi All,

Heard rumours that the Bali Govt is quite strict on tourists lately after the recent attack. Some even said that if you are wearing your bikini and walking around town you will be arrested for not being properly clothed. Or is there any new laws passed that a tourist should be aware of?

Just want to clarify this with anyone who is currently in Bali or has been to Bali recently. Won't want to upset the society there by being an ignorant tourist come April. Appreciate any feedback...

Hi Benny,

I have been to Bali in January for one month and I can't report actions like this. A lot of tourists were walking either topless guys or bikini wearing girls thru the streets. Sometimes it's far away of a respectful behavior to local traditions. Some act like ignorant jackasses. But this is just my personal point of view. Well so far didn't hear any of your concerns.
