Hi everyone,

My name is Joana, based in Sydney Australia. My sister (Jessica) and I are interested in opening up something in Bali. I thought this would be the best forum for now to understand and gather as many information. We plan to travel there soon, it will be our first Bali trip also, so were excited about that.

Don't want to burst your bubble but you should know that Indonesia is not an easy place to open-up (I assume you mean) a business. They are very protective of their own industry and labour. If you have a niche market it isn't impossible but I'd suggest a visit as a tourist is your best plan. You will get to know what you think will work....then ask members here...some of whom have experience of the plus and minus of 'opening something.'
