Greetings. I created an account after lurking for a few days, and now that I'm approved I'll make my introduction.
My wife and I recently started looking into the idea of early retirement, and what we'd need to pull it off. We're still at least 5-10 years away from that point, but one way to increase the chance of success in the early years is moving somewhere where we can stretch our money further. One idea was moving to Indo (preferably Bali), as she is from Surabaya and still has her citizenship. It would be determined later how long to stay, or if it would end up being mostly permanent.
Any potential move is still years away, so I'll just be taking things in from a distance and trying to get a feel for things from others who have already made the move.
