Hello

I am considering taking a position in Bali. I also have a steady online writing job. If for any reason, I were to decide I did not want to maintain my employment, would I be able to switch my visa to a social visa and remain in the country for as long as allowable?

If for whatever reason you want to quit your job in Bali and want to switch to a sosbud-visa, you would first have to leave the country, for example to singapore and then apply there for a sosbud visa. That visa will allow you to travel back to Bali and stay here for 6 months. (60 day original visa wich you can extend every 30 days upto 4 times)
