Abattoir

There are some very odd requests that appear on this fine forum and here is another!! Where can I find a major abattoir (for piggies) in Bali? (I have no doubt that some poor folk live far too close to one!)

Most Balinese men are walking pig abattoirs. Just let them have the bits you don't want and it's a done deal, pig is history. Of course if you want it all cut up nicely into special chunks then you're gonna have to stand by and watch otherwise it will be like it's been run over by a mowing machine.

Hi Kiteman, sorry I can't be more certain, I think this building is an abattoir, I'm just remembering it from a lazy Sunday drive.

A friend thinks this abattoir closed a few years ago so any other suggestions welcome!

I am interested. I would like to get into smoking meats like pork butt etc and fattier cuts. Also beef for making meat pies etc.

Has anyone seen different cuts anywhere?
