    It would be great if you could call her because she feels very isolated. She has no way of getting anywhere and doesn't know her way around. Just a phone call of encouragement would be great. This is her first time away from home.

    I pay 35 pounds for my social visa in the UK and only stay in Indonesia for 6 months at a time [so far] so have never been to Singapore. So I don't know the cost of the agents. I would think 20 US dollars extra would cover them though.
    I do not know the Suka beach inn. But it is a good Idea tom stay in a hotel/ guest house for a bit whilst looking for a house to rent. It really is the best way. Just get out and look around the area you like. You will find some amazing bargains [don't forget to haggle].
    Internet is pretty wide spread now so getting a connection should not be a problem, however getting a decent speed will be.
    As to life here. I love it!
    I may well be interested in a web site.

    I'm from Spain, I'm software developer and I'm going to move to Bali the next month.

    The only one thing I need to work is an Internet Connection. I want to rent a house there and I was reading your posts and are insteresting for me.

    I want to live close to the beach in a 3 bed house and possible to have Internet.

    I'm going to go to Singapur before to get the social visa using the agents that I saw in the forum. Do you know how much is it? I found the number of Ismael in Sinagapur but I didn't call him yet.

    How is the life there?

    At the beggining I'm thinking to live in SUKA BEACH INN for few days, do you know the place?
