The Balinese have home made tonics for lots of things. They have had to, in order to survive over the centuries, without enough money to pay for a regular medicine/doctor.
I am sure someone with herbal knowledge here can satisfy your need.
If you are talking about that 'cough' where you retch the phlem in the top/back of your throat, just cut your drinking by 60% and use the water with lemon drinks. That works well. 24 hours and you are OK again.
You can go to the apotek and preen thru their available packs of things.
You could also contact Hall's and ask where can you buy their lozenges nearby to here. You could use a Skype phone to call them for a dollar. Track them down, line someone up, and get them.
Maybe SIN has them. With friends coming and going all the time to other countries, you can probably get a delivery happening. I am off to Australia around end of Jan so if I think to, I can look around for Hall's and I'd be happy to get some for you.
There are some options.
And, surely Jakarta has them? You'd have contacts there for sure.
You definitely wont get them in Australia I guarantee you that.
There is now only 1 proper importer of British products into Australia (British Provender) the other one went out of business about 7 months ago(Blue thistle)
and anyhow they have never brought them in.
Probably because of date issues as not a big seller or ingredients dont comply to Australian standards
eg Can't now bring in Bisto gravy ,Irn bru and some other products
The Barrs irn bru here is actually a different formula to comply with regulations, although there is a small distributor in Sydney who brings in real stuff
but calls it red lemonade on invoices.also brings in bisto
