For some reason Perfume made me think of "Fur" another unusual movie that I enjoyed a lot. With Robert Downey Junior and Nicole Kidman.Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favourites - also with RDJAnd for the ladies if you like Johnny Depp The Libertine is a must see

Haven't seen Fur or The Libertine. I'll try to find both. Thanks.

Perfume, the book was one of best I've ever read and that in a long life of reading. The movie is actually pretty good and close to the film in line.

Lately its Law abiding citizen***, Balibo***, Bad Liutenant*** (although the original starring Harvey Keitel from about 10 years ago was far more hard hitting), Deadwood****(a mini series), Blacks on Blondes#9*****

It is not due to be screened in Indonesia as promised to one of the contributors however I am hopeful we will still get copies here.Tintin, I am not aware that there is any book related to this film.. or is it another book you are talking about. I couldn't find anything with a Google search either.

Thanks for posting, that was funny. This is from their website:Holidaying in Bali some years ago, I met a twelve-year-old Indonesian boy who insisted on speaking to me in Japanese. My grasp of the language is limited to what you'd find on a sushi menu, but he couldn't have cared less. It didn't even matter that I spoke Indonesian fairly well. He had made his decision and until a Japanese person showed up, I'd have to do.When amusement finally gave way to annoyance, I asked him what the deal was. "I'm practicing," he said. "When I grow up I want to sex-service Japanese girls."
Coco Chanel ****The movie was more than entertainment. How can a fashion queen and a fashion disaster have so much in common...Btw, I am not very happy with the copies I buy at the entrance of the Bintang supermarkt (Jl Seminyak) Where to find better copies/shops?
Pa_Yan
There was a string before about dvd shops. The link is here:https://balipod.com/forum/threads/whats-your-favourite-dvd-shop.3469/If you're close to Bintang I would advise to go to the Sakura shop close by. I think it's around 200 m further towards Kuta on the right hand side. Usually the quality of the newest movies isn't good. You can ask them at the shop if the quality is good and they will tell you which dvds aren't good yet.
