A friend of mine helps organise annual boy scouts jamborees each year, i have recommended that place also to him.

Settle in bit first...few quiet drinks seaside one afternoon would be nice. Area is Echo Beach.....this is the owners spiel upon my possible concerns booking 2 months site unseen....she did send me tons of photos, including all around the house and its all rice terrace, so sweet.... '[I]From the upstairs you can see a morning sunrise and a sunset..on a clear day, you can see the volcanoes of Bali far away. ....we are close to the sea, and do get that clean fresh breeze.....They close one entrance to the village at night and have a patrol. The local community is very organized.[/I] So this will be a base for 2 months to hunt about for the place with character that we want.

Yes....very strict for onwards travel. HF at the thai end.....my son is on overstay for last year, never an issue here and kids are dxempt overstay until 15yo......but, indo would not issue visa because he was currently illegaly in the country in their eyes.....they did not worry about that last year when he was on overstay and got a visa regardless........ Anyway, had to go to thai immi to sort out and thats where the hf stepped up some notches.

Glad your sosbuds are done ! maybe wrong embassy or way of asking or bad attire.each embassy has own rules an example is You needed exit tickets and in SG they not ask for them or care .KL and Penang require them (even if dates are wrong lol)

Attire wss fine....asking was fine, he spoke excellent english so no language issue.....maybe just locale. I read that multi entry sosbud has to be applied and approved fro jakarta.....if that is true, maybe he just meant that, no not today etc.

Where to get great yogurt...natural.....the contact through here looks to have fallen over. And will be looking for good lingo teacher again.......seeing as someone just got divorced......selfish git

U won't need yoghurt in Indonesia. Thats for western diets rich in pres ervatives

I come from a thai diet....not rich in preservatives......I just happen to really like natural yogurt with my brekky or fruit after din dins

When we bought our villa we used AJI Gallery for nearly all our furniture...Jl. Tangkuban Perahu no101 Kerobokan web Aji Gallery tel. 62-361-732231...if you keep the Kerobokan jail entrance on your right it's a couple of blocks further on the same side. If you see their big sign still up it's the kitchen they built for us.
