Where to find furniture and sports?

So to you long terme expats who've gotten a bit more settled in than I, help me out?
I've recently settled down in the outskirts of Denpasar (Eastern part) and will be staying for a while.
Have two questions.

1. Where can I find cheap funrniture (really need a dinner table)?

2. Anyone know a good sports/fitness club in the Denpasar area? I'd love to find one with a pool, as I love to take a couple of lanes in the morning. And a badminton court would be great too.

For cheap furniture try the little local toko mebel or furniture stores. They mostly have cheap flatpack type furniture that they deliver to you preassembled. A slight step up is Courts on the bypass.

Try any furniture shop on the bypass between Kuta and the Makro. There are loads of them, enough choice. :wink:
