Hi all,
I am considering a business venture in Bali, and have a few questions someone may be able to help me with. First off, my business is a variation of a motorscooter, which I would assemble in Bali, but import all componants.
First question, How do I find out whether my product is legally able to operate on Indonesian roads and who do I go to see about this ?
I have read else where in this forum, that import duty is very high, is this correct?
Lastly does Bali/iIndonesia have any sort of local automotive industry?

Hopefully someone can help me with these questions
Cheers Dace.

Hi Dace,

I cannot oversee the consequences of your plans.

But with good Indonesian help you may have better chances.

Go to http://www.bali-expat-business.com , call them and ask for Pak Iwan.

He knows about "business", maybe he is able to help you.

I hope you speak Indonesian, cause he doesn't speak english.
