OK, so his English is no good. But does that matter? Maybe he intends to employ qualified CTEFL English teachers to do the language teaching while he concentrates on running the business?
I would expect the principal of the operation, being the front man so to speak, is capable of at least correct grammar and punctuation plus an ability to speak English with proficiency.I should set myself up as a cooking school, employ some chefs and them tout myself as an expert.Truthfully , I struggle to boil water...CheersKen

I do think the criticism is valid: the OP is looking to set up an English Language school therefore one would assume that proficiency in the language might be a requirement,
So I'm crap at cooking. Does that mean I will fail at running a successful restaurant? Who says I will be the cook or he will be the teacher?

Bali chef, I think you miss a general perception about opening a business: Generally there are 2 kind of investors:1. Investors contributing capital: This one can be money or building or other assets that the business can be used.2. Investors contributing their knowledge, skill or unique contribution: This kind of investors have a lack of capital but have a very good knowledge, experience or other unique capability (connection, permit/license, etc) essential for the business. If you are one of those two above, you'll be able to start your company better, but from your post, you are still not appealing enough for others to join this idea of yours.Maybe provide more capital before you invite others?Just my 2 cents:icon_smile:

Most successful businesses are those run by people with business acumen and are not associated to the product, profession or otherwise. There are countless anecdotal references including Alan Mulally a Boeing engineer who is now CEO of Ford. Warren Buffet, of Omaha, who diversifies his portfolio among Coca Cola, Dow Chemicals, General Electric and Santa Fe Railway with which, I doubt, he has much intimate knowledge. Even Apple's Mike Wozniak considers Mike Markulla, who knew nothing about computers, as the leader to its business success.I'm sure members have many others to add to my list....feel free!

I have noticed when Indonesian people write English, they don't always capitalize the first words in sentences and they might capitalize random words. Also when writing Indonesian they abbreviate many words I think to save typing.
