The official fee should be 3,055,000 + 1,750,000 for 2 yrs MERP. Immigration thinks that MERP is part of your Kitas/kitap process, so you don't have a choice.

Cant say I planned on that tho before a 1yer MERP was only 1jta in my memory Fred!? Has this gone up as well? I will definitely be asking questions tho up to now they have been pretty good...no dramas but always good to know everything you need to know,our approval (tho married many years + son) has only taken 2months+ thanks for your help and will certainly be confirming the MERP cost etc as i have never paid MERP with 15+ Kitas's only paid Kitas cost only!!

Last 6 months immigration has been charging for MERP. Kitas 1 year, Kitap 2 years.

I urgently need someone to inform me of the correct scheduled price of a KITAP....we have done already & just approved AND now imigrasi rep has informed us that it is 5.5jta (not 3.1jta or at best 3.5jta as stated on some sites!) for first 5years.....any one know 'real price?' My wife is 'afraid' (malu) to question Imigrasi however this doesnt seem right and I will question that's for sure.....lol[/QUOTE]I was told a few weeks ago by immigration that the KITAP is a little over 5juta (I don't remember the actual figure cause we decided to go with another KITAS instead). I presume it's so high because the MERP is now automatically included in the visa processing and price, as opposed to applying for it after the visa is issued and paying separately. I went to immigrasi near the airport.
