sounds like an ego thing - 4 years for this ? ridiculous! He's probably a small man with huge problems. YES urinating near a temple is a bad act - show some respect please but we all have been out on a drunken night. Need to peeeeeeeeeeee....everywhere u look are buildings, on't get me wrong these guys should be punished, apologize officially, maybe (if desired) blacklisted but in jail? No I had this napoleon syndrome one time myself with a balinese guy on the highway to Nusa Dua - he blocked me in a James Bond way and came out and said he "owns the street" yes right:)

What about the Punched fist to the face ? or was it a bottle? I agree 4 years to long but some kind of acceptable " payment " and no charges is a buy your way out of jail. a Dentist and a manager of "human resources" should bring a "payday" to the person that was hit !

Glassing is a physical attack using a glass as a weapon. Glassing can occur at bars or pubs where alcohol is served, and a drinking glass or bottle is available as a weapon. The most common method of glassing involves the attacker smashing an intact glass in the face of the victim. However the glass may be smashed before the attack, and then gripped by the remaining base of the glass or neck of the bottle with the broken shards protruding outwards. Mate I am the first one to put my hand up when its time to give it to the Aussies but I think this is a bit over the top to put all Aussies in this Category. Its mainly the younger generation here on holiday that are terribly mannered and very disrespectful. Most of the "matured" generation of Expats living here can't be put in the same category.

imagine if this happened in Australia and the perps were of middle eastern appearance.....oops a couple of bogan friends of mine in Darwin knocked the towel of a Seihk taxi driver's head and both got jailed for 9 months each. Of course she was pissed and did it in front of the coppers haha
