Markit wroteApologies to the OP but I gotta ask - after 10 years marriage you get a divorce and are still allowed to work in the country as if you were still married?
My understanding is that a foreigner, on a spousal kitas/kitap, can help with the washing and cleaning in the spouse's warung without an IMTA.....and, whether currently married or not, so long as 10 years marriage has elapsed, can keep the visa. As there is no IMTA, working at helping a spouse, where there is no spouse, imo becomes a legal grey area.
In my villa kitchen I considered this washing/cleaning as work, which legally therefore required an IMTA, but have since been 'warned' to the contrary...:beaten:
Should we open a new thread and transfer the irrelevant posts on this thread re: spousal kitas etc.....to a new thread?
