Natasha
A few days ago I did a one day visa run to Singapore for a social visa, I had no problems. I did it through an agent.
Markit
Thanks Natasha - good to know it's still possible - despite all the negative contributions.

We have a VOA, and need a 30 Day extension. Can someone recommend a reliable agent?? My old agent, is on his 35m yacht on a world around trip ;-0 .

Toto, please contact Aris on 0813 3879 0474. He will come to collect you passport and return your visa about 7 to 10 days later. I have used his services for the past year and a half and he's very reliable.

Does anyone not what colour the background of your social visa photo needs to be. Apparently it has to be a certain colour but nobody seems to know, not even Aris.

The Indonesian consulates in Australia and Singapore used to require passport photos with a red-coloured background, but they don't seem to care any longer.

Has anyone used Ismail in Singapore for their visa. I see him on Wednesday and he said to meet him at his office in Clemenceau ave. Is it possible to get a train there or only a taxi?
Markit
Ask Ismail?
spicyayam
Yes, I have used Ismail but never went to his office. If you are staying at a hotel, he can arrange pickup. It looks like his office is close to Dhoby Ghaut station.
matsaleh
Ismail's office is in Clemenceau Avenue, close to Orchard Road (unless he's moved). The closest MRT station is Somerset and then it's probably 5 or 600 metres to Clemenceau Avenue. The office is located in Singapore Shopping Centre which is near the corner of Somerset Road and Clemenceau Avenue. As Spicy said, Ismail will arrange to pick up your passport from your hotel, if you contact him early enough in the morning of the day of pickup.

Okay thanks Matsaleh.

Well, got the visa done through Ismail with no issues. I chose to get a taxi from the airport and back. I made inquiries at Dhoby Ghaut station which is over the road from Ismail's office. To go from there by train to the Airport you need to travel to City Hall and then change trains to go to Tanah Merah, change trains again at Tanah Merah to the Airport. A bit around the houses but apparently only a couple of dollars.

Hi - hope you don't mind me crashing this thread but I'll stay on subject. -) I am doing a visa run to KL and am unsure if the exit ticket out of Indonesia has to be within 60 days or as it is an extendable visa can it be 5-6 months away?? Any experiences/thoughts?
matsaleh
If KL requires an exit ticket, it can be for up to 180 days after arrival.
