There has been much discussion on this board about a new Indonesian law being passed that required a lengthy stay out of the country to obtain a new social visa. Does anyone actually know the facts? It seems as though there was much speculation and misinformation concerning this issue, I would like to know the reality before I make my next visa run.

Look for the phone number of the guy in Singapore that can do your visa in 1 day he will soon tell of the new rules(if any).If you do it yourself you drop it off before 11am & pick the next day after 2pm.

This was his reply.Thank you for your email.I am not sure regarding the Immigration rules in Indonesia. If you meet me and pass your documents before 10.30am, your passport will be return back to you between 4.30pm to 5.00pm on the same day. Therefore you are advise to booked evening or after 6.30pm flight for your departure.It didn't inspire a lot of confidence, thus the reason for my question on the board.

Maybe the new regulations are slow to get to Singapore OR there is NO BLOODY new regulations, I think there is tooooo much black magic, people are seeing new regulations in there dreams???

Whats the situation with the morning flights to Singapore these days guys. I seem to recall someone saying that Air Asia had cancelled their early morning flights, which were ideal for meeting the visa agent. What airlines you guys been using to get in to Singapore in time.

I will be travelling to Singapore next week for a Social Visa Run..Malik is our agent in Singapore ( provided by Bali IDE )He send me an email last night in regards to the Embassy not issuing visas until around 7.00pm soif you are returning to Bali same day you need to book the latest possible..According to the email these changes started 2nd January and will continue throughout January or untilfurther notice...
