Help me out here but isn't above half the population of the earth women? Why is this type of destructive behavior, be it female genital mutilation or arranged marriages of preteen girls to old men, promoted and protected by the very women that suffer from it the most?
I know that if the shoe was on the other foot, if men had these things done to them, then they would have disappeared long ago.
How can any of these neolithic societies hope to be a success in the future if they disadvantage and consign to only a life in the kitchen half their population. The simple answer is, they can't and will simply disappear with time.
