I do know of a plot owned by mix marriage couple just outside of Padangbai if anyone is interested. Located in between P'bai and the main road to Candidasa, just behind the btn. Total plot 25 are including nearly finished house, land is square and completely walled. Perfect location for building rental villas. Has not hit the market yet, looking for a quick sale preferably without agents involved.

Markit, I believe you have the quality to be the next Trump in Bali with that kind of idea. But i think a lot of the other brokers in Bali already tried their way with the same operating procedure :tongue:

Just came back from "Ray White real estate" here in Sanur and they mentioned it's a popular area on the domestic investors market. The 550jt is not that market though, that's probably the "stupid, deep pocketet, idiot bule market" They did advise that it should not be very hard to sell it for a very interesting price for sellers right now.

As the man once said.... "You can fool some of the people some of the time". Give it to Ray White? Even after their 5% they may find "one who just got off the boat" for you, and get you around 500. Or tell Markit that you have cheese trees growing on it. He will buy it for sure. :topsy_turvy:

I sometimes have the feeling that the estate agents here on the island are more interested in the fees they get for advertising then for selling. But what do I know?

I didn't know they charge a separate fee for advertizing. Isn't that part of the commission they'd get if they sell?

They put you on their website for free but advise that if you really, really want to sell then you should pay for inclusion in their weekly, monthly, quarterly brochure have them put it in the Bali Advertiser - that all aint for free.

If my business would be in real estate, then I personally would rather sell 10 properties @ 50jt then 1 property @ 500jt
