Hey Terry,It looks like we're heading to ground level very quickly, things seem to be in a free fall here. The communist manifesto (bailout bill) wasn't even the speed bump I predicted it would be, it was the equivalent of spitting on a forest fire. The only way out now is to either;1) Put the Patriot Act to good use and sack ALL the assets of the irresponsible Wall St. executives who brought this upon us or,2) Dump the debt owed to Russia, China and Japan. (this would probably start more than a cold war but on the up side WalMart would finally be defeated. )Bush and Cheney are insane. The longer this crisis is allowed to burn, the closer we come to wide-spread and most likely violent social erosion, just the spark these two would need to declare martial law and send congress home.....for good.

Since my posting from yesterday was completely erased for some reason, I'll rewrite.Herr Bush has used a signing statement as a line-item veto to suspend posse comitatus. The First Brigade of the Third Infantry unit has been deployed on US soil since Oct 1st. Several members of congress and the senate were privately threatened with a possible declaration of martial law, if they failed to pass The Communist Manifesto. (bailout bill)Thus, the US version of fascism is nearly complete, save for the violent subjugation of free men yet to come.As stated in my erased post, Bush and Cheney are chomping at the bit in anticipation of that first spark, however so faint, to arm these troops and set them against civilian populations.Check out this shallow song and dance by commie "yes man" Col. Michael Boatner.http://www.democracynow.org/2008/10/7/u ... it_will_beI'm not sure why my post was erased yesterday but I will not submit to aggressive forum members who wish to silence my opinions through the use of belittling and degrading language. Everyone has an opinion, that's what internet forums are all about, respect for opinions through polite disagreement is acceptable, a lesson we should all be able remember that was taught to us in kindergarten.I launched no personal attacks against anyone, I was moderated only for defending myself from personal attack and this is wrong isn't it?Don :?

if i told you that i believed that canada was under threat from aliens and that they had penetrated the prime minister's office and that a sample of stephen harper's dna had been analyzed by canadian intelligence and the levels of silica indicated he's not a human being.. well that is only slightly more ridiculous than conspiracy nonsence you carry on with.. yet if there were an army of idiots out there willing to restate it every day and create forums about it, as sure as the sun rises, more and more idios would jump on board..i'm not saying this to attack you don.. obviously as a child or as a young man, you had some influence in your life that has misguided you somewhat.. i don't mean to be condescending, but you have to be made aware, that your views are extreme and irrational.. people act or think irrationally for a myriad of reasons, but usually there's one thing they have in common - they're highly emotional.. you really do seem like a nice guy and i'm sorry if my previous posts were personally focussed, but i really do think that you need a support network - outside of the one that you obviously have now, a group that can help you sort through this stuff in your mind.. i don't think that engaging in this type of debate is particularly healthy for you, because it seems to lament in your mind that your views are rational..best of luck..ct

LOL Balilife ^5 :D

The ^5 is for the first part of the post btw......I don't think it is just Sumatra's posts that are irrational either...but quite frankly I can' be bothered to debate or comment on this anymore... the two year US election process has worn me out...nice to see a Republican being accused of being a commie tho...that made me laugh out loud...any truth to the rumour that Ross Perot is the next leader of N Korea....

It's called the Sovereign Citizen Movement. http://www.adl.org/learn/ext_us/SCM.asp?LEARN_Cat=Extremism&LEARN_SubCat=Extremism_in_America&xpicked=4&item=sov

The only aliens we have to fear are those of the illegal variety.Bush has issued 1,077 signing statements during his eight years in office, more than any other president in history.Every one of these signing statements was used to undermine the authority of the constitution, look it up for yourself it's a matter of record, not some conspiracy theory pulled from thin air. How's this, for extreme and irrational,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnbNm6hoBXc Reading it second-hand from me just isn't the same as hearing it from a member of congress, who actually felt coerced into passing unjust and unconstitutional legislation.Perhaps you could pass along your sympathy to congressman Sherman and the other members of congress who were threatened. Maybe you could send them all some tinfoil hats to wear and soothe them with your rational thought processes. I'm sure as children and young men they must have endured some traumatic event that twisted their perceptions of reality, causing them to veer off in a mentally unstable direction.Do you think if they all had the proper support network, they could sort this stuff out in their mind?Watch the youtube video Roy, this Sherman guy is definitely angry and spooked. :x  Don

Sumatra...'the only aliens we have to fear are those of the illegal variety'...most US cities would collapse without illegal aliens doing the jobs that most non illegals consider themselves too good for...you really now are blowing smoke out of your ass.I went to a NY diner, asked for the 'check', my waitress said 'No, I am Mexican'...

I don't know how old you are but I'm old enough to remember when the United States had a manufacturing base.Unfortunately, businesses moved everything lock, stock and barrel into Mexico, India and China where they are allowed to freely manipulate and exploit desperately poor peoples, NAFTA was the final nail in the coffin. I watched my father and all of my uncles, skilled tradesmen and craftsman lose their jobs because they refused to be low wage slaves, scraping by from one paycheck to the next. Being a low wage slave is no problem for illegals, who live fifty to a 3 bedroom apartment on rotating schedules, too stupid to realize their low rent attitudes they brought with them from the old country are screwing up their quality of life and ours. You'll get no sympathy from me and I don't give a damn what your nationality is stay home the picture is no rosier here, the American dream is dead, you've wasted the trip.Don

Jeez Sumatra, over the past few threads we've seen you blame just about everyone for your woes..it's like name the creed or race.Maybe life hasn't handed you a fair deal but isn't it time to stand up and flick those chips off your shoulders and take a little personal responsibilty rather than tossing blame at every minority or philopsphy that comes within your gaze.It must be awfuly rough staggering under all that hate and vitriol day in & day out.

You're right you guys, I was just playing the devil's advocate. There really isn't anything going on here in the states, so a person gets bored and tries to spice things up a bit.Sorry to all those whom I've offended with my wicked game.I just wanted to grab hold of a few "hot button topics" write them up with some preposterous and unbelievable viewpoints and see what happened.Well everyone did what most sane people would do and properly lambasted me,thank god there are some sane souls left in this world.Don

U.S.A today officially declared it is in a recession. If this credit/crunch, stock market collapse continues, i cannot see how republicans could be voted back in again seeing they are supporters of a system which created this problem ?this was quoted by the current Nobel Laureat of economics (2008). McCain made it very clear thatany government regulation in the markets is undesirable and not within republican ideology.Chilli

so, good or bad Don,Obama is the only option.

Wasn't it clear enough, in this last debate today, just how desperate is John McCain? While feeling sorry for the old warrior, I was also thinking of some great retirement homes where he might be happy. Ya, sure, maybe right here in Bali!It was almost an embarrassment watching and listening to him struggle to make his "points." And, what an awful smile when he thinks he's "scored." I heard him snort a few times...did you? On November 4, (the 5th here), McCain will win his pre-designated Republican states...those whose populous are painfully stupid ("he's an Arab"(Obama)), and those few states will only be counted on in the future for the "da, whata you mean" states.Frankly, it's almost embarrassing....nah, it IS embarrassing, that any American of sound mind and body could vote for McCain.
Thorsten
Looks almost like a landslide for Obama, more and more the US map turns into blue.Jim Thorpe has been so quit recently, well Obama has Iowa too

I don't know about McCain, but the real winner of last night debate was "Joe the Plumber." He is on his way up. Watch him get his own TV show, starting next week...

yes, it was clearer last night more than ever, that mccain is as far out of his league as palin is out of hers..maybe he was hoping people would feel sorry for him roy? perhaps it's the new republican strategy  ct

picture1.jpg[/attachment:25bt2d98]By the way, Joe the Plumber is a registered Republican, he is not a plumber, and he owes taxes to the State of Ohio. In realty, he was a Republican plant.
