Parroted narrative and empty rhetoric? This is the most difficult hurdle I have in bridging the chasm between my belief system and that of the conservatives. Ironic that most of the leading US climate change deniers are in Florida which is bearing the brunt of ocean temperature rise. Rick Scott, Desantis, Trump himself.Altruistic reasons? Perhaps people care enough about the world their children's children will live on."The National Academy of Sciences report, Climate Change Science: An Analysis of Some Key Questions, begins: "Greenhouse gases are accumulating in Earth's atmosphere as a result of human activities, causing surface air temperatures and subsurface ocean temperatures to rise"Source: Science - https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.1103618This is NOT an article published in Greenpeace..Science is arguably the most respected scientific publication in the world. It's unfortunate that climate change deniers appear to follow the familiar trope of conducting "research" on their own to come to their own conclusions on what they perceive as fact; Much like the Covid-deniers and the 2020 election-deniers. It's a brief article so please have a look and I'll look into your "a taste of data"....likely after dinner.
Just for giggles, have a read through the following if you wish:Stat FraudCon in ConsensusTrustWe all got f-ed like house cats during the C19 pandemic. Thanks for the article. It is little more than a statement with very little data. "We are the scientists, therefore you must believe us". I have little confidence in most institutions these days as that there is a very high potential for them to be corrupted. I actually went to the National Academy of Sciences website and took a stroll through the papers there for both Covid 19 and Climate Change and found that some articles in the appendices had a section calling out "Direct Potential Conflicts of Interests" for the authors or contributors, but many did not. Perhaps it might be worthwhile to spend some time getting into the guts of the papers published to find out who the contributors are and also who the sponsor or sponsors are for the papers / publications.Your mention of Covid 19 and the steal of the 2020 election leads me to believe that we will not find any common ground and unlikely to ever get beyond agreeing to disagree. My hope of hopes is that after Trump takes office and his team of patriots go to work and that many of the egregious violations of our civil rights over the past 4 years are exposed and the perpetrators get swift snd fair trials and are sent off to the penitentiary. Time will tell.Good day sir.
Thank you Major Butt Munch. We are so lucky, You and your band of patriots are going to save the day! HAH!!!

Perhaps sticking with subjects that you're more suited to speak to might be better. You can always tell when a lib has lost an argument by the verbal assaults that are soon to follow. Grow up.

Thanks for the article. It is little more than a statement with very little data.
More like a unified opinion from the majority of leading scientists in the world on the matter. So you require me to provide you with data collected and studied, researched, peer-reviewed, published and debated by leading scientists on the subject so that you can make an independent decision for yourself? "We are the scientists, therefore you must believe us".
Greater chance of being right than the conspiracy theorist who probably never took any science classes in college (many right-wing conservatives). You are the classic example of someone taking a position on something which you know nothing about and then going to great lengths to defend your stance. Arguing climate change, Covid, and the 2020 election with you is like arguing evolution with a Creationist...the Creationist does not need a sound defensive argument or provide facts or proof either. The next four years will be a total shit show likely ending with a tanked economy, stripped social security, a world which despises the US even more, 10 more trillion dollars in national debt and greater divisions in society over health care, women's reproductive rights, the ever narrowing division between Church and State.....on and on and on.

As I've suggested to Shadrach, you should really try to get your news from other sources than the mainstream media. Judging by your talking points, you have the narrative down pat.

I see how the conservatives do their solid "research" into big societal problems now. Thank you for the good laugh.

As I've said before, I only speak about what I've directly heard from Mr.T when he has spoken. He, as you say is a professional at verbal assaults. Not only does he call people, ugly names, but also verbal assaults, he threatens them with violence and incarceration, when he was charged and found guilty of 38 Felonies! Why wasn't he incarcerated for his crimes? So now the people that support tyranny are called Patriots? When they, and their parents lose Social security, Medicaid, Medicare, and the cost of medicine sky rockets, and the cost of living will be even more expensive, and the economy even worse. I think they will wonder, how they could have supported a Dictator Wannabe!

As a non American, I have a neutral approach. I am not brainwashed since birth between Red vs Blue...First of all it is sad that a country with 335 million inhabitants can not come up with some younger, educated and credible candidates...If I had to vote I would have choosen Trump. At least with him you know where you stand. I beared 5 min with Kamala during the "debate"...Loud mouthed shouting Yankee woman she is. Had she won she would have been in the backseat and the deepstate would have been driving, led by the military industry lobby, Big Pharma and O & G !Hopefully Trump will speak with Putin, stop the weapon and money flow to Kiev, and kick out Zelensky. Enough dead already that could have been avoided.Next I hope he blows up NATO, which is now a purely destructive entity.Tariffs and sanctions never work. Russia's and China's GDP are progressing faster than the US, France or Germany one...BTW hats off for the way he reacted when being shot at. Not many 78 y old would have reacted like him ! Macron would have shit his pants. If he wins the house, it will be a nice democratically elected dictatorship. And trust him to put only very loyal people at top position. Absolute loyalty comes before the law or constitution for him !Just my 2 cents...
NATO is gay.

The guy hasn't even taken office yet and already his most important campaign promise is being walked back. Making groceries more affordable and easing inflation.https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-already-walking-back-core-031136532.htmlFew believed he could raise tariffs on all imports and then deport the work force of cheap labor according to plan AND also fix the economy, but enough believed the lies to get him into office.
