Mood Swings!

I woke up this morning knowing that I should be thankful to be Alive another day, but due to my health not being 100% at the moment, I didn’t feel Thankful. It made me look at myself, and understand that I should have more Compassion for others, that also might not be having everything all Rosey in their World at the moment. Luckily my problem is not that serious, and can fixed by taking some pain medication. So I reach out to all the People out there to know that All things Must Pass, and that life will keep moving on, and Someday for them the Sun will Shine again, and bring a smile to their face I Hope! 🌞🌹

A not uncommon sentiment, “Someday for them the Sun will Shine again, and bring a smile to their face I Hope! 🌞🌹”
In reality across the ages there are billions for whom the sun never shone again just as there are now hundreds of thousands around the world living in poverty, fear and with starvation around the corner. Compassion is important but not everything turns out rosy in the end. Just as with the other fatuous notion that all bullies are cowards and if stood up to will back down.

As an Australian it seems like I was born in a rare time bubble and was not caught up in war or disaster. We all have to deal with each day as it comes for better or worse. You and I are fortunate enough to be able to fall back on pain killers or, in my case a free medical system. Sorry for those without this option and as in America at the moment, more and more poor people being pushed away from welfare or free medical service. It is a wonderful world but life can also be very cruel. Without meaning to be unkind I can see you standing on a pile of rubble in Gaza and calling out, “Don’t worry.. the sun will soon shine again.” Then a shower of rocks heading in your direction.

You’re right about that saying to People in a desperate situation like Gaza. I hadn’t thought of such an extreme place. I would never say such a thing, to People in a place like that. Thanks for pointing that out!
I was fortunate to have been just a little too young for the Vietnam War. When I turned 18 they started a lottery system that if you had a certain number, you got drafted. I miss the number, and it ended in one year.
My Brother was in the Marines and he went, finished his tour of duty, came back and got busted for a joint, they told him he had two choices, Go to Prison, or go back to Vietnam! He went back to Nam. When he came home, He and many like him were treated like shit. No help from the Government, No G.I.Bill. Nothing. He turned to drinking and Drugs, just like thousands of other soldiers. It was a far cry from how the soldiers that returned from WW11 were treated!
So from now on, I will keep these emotional feelings to myself, and how life is going for me. It seems the World has gotten harder and No One seems to care about others anymore?
Generally, I have been amazingly lucky, and had a good life. I never made plans, and let life just fall into place. Of course there were many Good times, and Bad times. I feel lucky to have lived this long, seen so much, and hope for many hears to come! So I guess all I can say is, Good Luck to All. 👍🙏✌️🥳
