@"Shadrach"#p135905 The only people that will lose medical insurance (medicaid) and food stamps are illegal aliens and working age individuals that refuse to work. The illegal aliens are free to leave and the working age individuals that will not work are welcome to get a job. There are plenty to be had. The bill will also put measures in to place to curb the waste, fraud, and abuse.
Regarding the tax breaks for the rich, I think there is a growing appetite. especially among the America First crowd to pursue higher taxes for the wealthy. Ask yourself, who was in charge for 4 years prior to the present administration with 2 of those 4 years with Democrat dominance?. The party the complains the most about "pay your fair share" did nothing to raise taxes on the wealthy. This makes no sense and is even further evidence of the Uniparty as that the majority of the wealthy over time has shifted to Democrats. As previously stated, my hope is that after the BBB is passed, that Trump will get even more aggressive attacking some of these shameful practices that both parties are responsible for and will get full out medieval if the republicans can retain both houses in the 2026 mid-term elections even though it's a foregone conclusion that the establishment / RINO republicans will be working against it.
