Booster Time!

Anyone have any info about getting the booster here in Bali/Indo? I feel kind of bad when 90% of Indonesians are waiting for their first shots but only "kinda". Not really bothered what flavor it is - just not AZ (first ones were). Thanks in advance.

If you want I can DM you somewhere that will give bule Sinovac I don't want to post it publicly as they're trying to do it under the radar and I'm pretty sure they don't want 100 foreigners people turning up, most of the sites this happened stopped vaccinating foreigners altogether now like BaliMed hospital. It's in Denpasar though not out your neck of the woods. You get the paper certificate. As far as digital system and all that depends if you can do it from your end, they don't want any part in that end of it. Maybe your experience will be different if you have KITAS/KITAP visa is my other thought.

I have not heard of any booster programs yet. Looking at other countries, the vaccine starts to wane after 6 months. So probably next year if cases start to rise again (hopefully not)

Or you know, just eat healthy, exercise, take some vitamins and get some sunlight from time to time. Haven't had one jab of vaccine yet and haven't gotten as much as a cold in 10+ years

If I wanted a booster shot I'd just go and act like I'd never been vaccinated it's the same result. Are you asking for places that vaccinate bule MarkIT? you willing to drive to Denpasar for a dose of Sinovac? Can DM if you don't want to post here because it's an "under the radar" type thing and they'll shut it down like BaliMed hosptial did if 100s of people turn up. Or are you awaiting some officially titled booster program?

I have a friend who did exactly that, not because they wanted a booster but wanted their vaccines recorded on the app and for some reason their first vaccine was not entered and it seemed easier to get another shot. They just turned up at Bali Mandara and asked for their second vaccine.

Quick question. My wife and I are fully vaxxed with the Sinovac in Thailand. We have all the paperwork, the yellow international book and the QR code on the App. How do we transfer this to the Indonesian vax Passport app? Also, are they asking for to show this passport in a lot of places?

Came thru Jakarta on 21 Nov.,and provided my US shot record on my card, and all accepted. Have read that things vary according to an individual’s country and R.I. requirements. Check with imigration.

Yes, I did see that too but thanks - I believe they also mentioned it would need to be paid for?! If the Omicron holds out until here and we all get it then won't need the 3rd shot anyway.

Another thought would be to get on the Jackie Pomeroy column on Facebook. She has a lot of info. concerning statistics as well as guidance concerning immigration matters. You must download Peduli Lindungi which is required to board a plane for Indo.,and essential to show Imigrasi at port of entry, and many public places here.

As Mugwump said you need to install the Peduli Lindungi app - this will scan the QR codes on your travels and will have a digital record of your vaccination status once your overseas certificate is assessed and uploaded to the app. In order to have your certificate and vaccine status officially assessed you need to register and upload it to: https://vaksinln.dto.kemkes.go.id/ You will need a photo of your certificate/s and a photo of your passport ID page - both need to be under 1Mb each in size. They will assess the certificate and transfer date to the Peduli Lindungi app (in the usual Indonesian timeframe). I am still waiting for mine to be assessed but others have successfully done this.
