Well thats interesting. Could be a good place to go if you have to fit out a student kost but I wonder how they will go price wise against the local stuff. I know here in Australia it is not really that cheap . People also make good money charging other people to put all the stuff together as sometimes the instructions defy logic. Cheers Ken

I wouldn't bother. The food did not look that good. The store is 1/10 of a normal IKEA store size. The good thing is you can order online and they will ship to Bali (from java) to pick up .

Just went for the first time last week with the lady. Suffice to say it was less of a furniture store and more of a kid's playground, Jakarta selfie park, and warung. Most people were crammed around the Swedish meatballs and ice cream stations than the actual furniture itself. Not to mention you need to sit outside in the heat and wait until people leave so there are only a certain amount of people in there at once. I didn't even see one piece of furniture I liked. Informa is much better in my opinion. Final score: 4.23/10. Would not go again.

The one good thing is that you can order online to pick up in Bali and there is no postage charge.

Unfortunately ,it is a big warung with almost no furniture , hardly an IKEA .

Was "bounced" by the bouncer last week. Their loss. But it seems I didn't miss much. Just looked up INFORMA on Google map, looks interesting. Seems to have 2 branches ? One on Sunset Rd, the other one (Informa Gator Subroto) seems to be a bit closer to Sanur ?

I can only speak for the one on Sunset but I bought an office desk and chair there for a reasonable price. Not the cheapest place around nor is it top of the line quality but if you're looking for something that's reasonable, stylish and won't break the bank, I'd give it a gander

Tomorrow was 3 days ago - clearly you have a different time scale. AND you buy furniture here "naked" that mean no finish and usually water marked because it's lived its life so fare, yes, outside in the rain. The locals will ask you what kind of finish you wish to have on this piece of work and they then proceed to give you what you asked for. If you get shite then you probably asked for it...

Nice little table... But varnish / paint is expensive so no need to apply to non visible areas.... Not to speak about the legs being of different length.... Nope..... Their furniture artistic skills are about as good as their house building skills.... Note : I am retired, so time has no importance to me ! But as you asked it, after I recover from my too many whisky in Casablanca last night I'll to focus on the art furniture I have in my place (rental, so bought by a local from a local)

In a general way : Poor finishing Legs very wobly, not same length, corrected by me with cork or teflon pads. It also eliminate the noice when moving them... Systematically sharp angles everywhere. Dangerous, specially if having kids in the house. All very uncomfortable Worse of all, probably bloody expensive. Note that it's not stuff I bought. They came with the rental house.

Actually bought a nice reclining armchair from Informa not so long back. So far seems to be Ok. Maybe worth giving them a try.
