Certainly not all, but unfortunately not enough Balinese are very innovative. As a result they cling to traditional ways of making a living.
This has been evidenced to me numerous times over the years when seeking employees who were shy about delving into new areas for which they may have little experience frequently even when training might be available.
So when we think of areas of employment that could be advantageous we must also realize this sometimes is the hurdle to be overcome.
Agreed, if they haven't done it before it's best to stay well away until someone else tries it first. Not terribly adventurous or inventive. I reckon it comes from lack of education, not years but the one where you are taught to question and ask...
