Thanks, I went to Alphamart and payed. Tokopedia said they got the payment and have to wait for the sellers to process and confirm. I don’t trust online business. I would much rather go to the shop and see the product, then buy if I like it. I guess I am old fashioned in that way.,

I seem to recall that Tokopedia don't accept credit cards. The simplest way is with a local bank account and transfer to the virtual account option for payment. It took me a while to get used to the system and the Tokopedia "help" has been, in my experience, pretty useless. Touch wood but having ordered, the process has worked efficiently and the speed of the low cost delivery has been amazing. That said, it is useful to check with the advertiser before ordering that they actually have the product in stock. Quite a few seem to advertise even after stock is unavailable. Tokopedia should police this more rigorously. A good feature is that payment is held until you confirm receipt of the goods. By the way, I don't have a smart phone with app. Just use my laptop. Hi Harry, I keep trying to look at Tokopedia and I cannot find vegetable seeds. When I type it in they not available. Not good intry. Both shoppee and Tokopedia are a pain in the ass. I am ready to give up.

I have been screwed buying online a few times and prefer seeing and feeling the goods before buying myself. In this situation we really don’t have much choice, and best to take in your stride. After a few purchases you may be able to refine your selections and chalk up the losses to gaining experience.

They will charge a small fee, and take your rupiah and give you a receipt. Your purchase will arrive at your location within a few days. Be certain to get the store and process your order with 24 hours after you have the number from Tokopedia. This process is confusing because it is so foreign to us. Once done however it becomes easy. I hear you, but I don’t like that kind of business. As you said I also prefer to go to a shop and see and feel the product directly. This kind of business made many mom and pop stores go bankrupt. A prime example is Amazon. Did you know they make billions of dollars and pay zero taxes. There are things about technology that are great, and somethings that are not. It is good to know the old ways and embrace the good from the new.

OP, if you've paid just give the notification bell a quick click maybe once a day, it will take you to a tracking status (lacak ) or you get set it to English but it's a very basic English mish mash with Indo. The stages are roughly, awaiting confirmation (eg paid by you not yet processed by seller), processing (seller preparing) and sent. When sent you can generally see a tracking, the day it goes through your local hub is delivery most of the time, sometimes 1 day later.

sort of sounds as though one out of multiple orders was sent to me? So if you click on the bell, you'll have four options: Awaiting confirmation, processing, shipping and delivered. If you click on to those tabs, you will find your order in whatever stage of the process it's currently in.

Thank you for the offer. I went Alphamart this morning and payed then Tokopedia said they got the payment. People have to understand that not everyone is used to doing online shopping. What Markit said was unnecessary and rude. I wonder does he or she know how to milk a cow and make cheese and buttter, how to tan a deer skin or elk or sheep and make beautiful leather and make your own clothes, how to train a team of horses to pull a wagon, how to make fire with no matches or lighter, how to find food from the Earth without stupid markets to be able to feed many. Despite the difficulties of becoming familiar with Tokopedia, once you have it, then in my experience it has become a very useful facility. Bearing in mind that often what one is searching for may not be readily available in Bali being able to access a host of sellers in Jakarta and Bandung is a great convenience and time saver. Even if there is a supplier in Denpasar the convenience of not having to motor through often heavy traffic for the incredibly cheap delivery cost makes life easier Walk in shops have increasingly become places where people visit for hands on with something and then look on line to see where they can buy it more cheaply. Anyway, nice to see that Padangbai Dennis and Markit have become great mates.

Hello Padangbai Dennis, how are you? I guess you probably don't use facebook, but in case you use it, there is a group called bali gardening community, although I think the most of the posts are about flowers instead of growing up food, I am sure people there could answer your questions and give you more information about growing up food in Bali. The groups community Ubud or Ubud community I am sure have as well information about all this. I remember, to have seen posts about some people from Payangan area selling seeds and trees and plants. Like everything in Bali, takes time to reach what you want but you will eventually. I value more and more my contact with earth, nature and been conscious about it. Hello Melati, I finally received some veggie seeds through Tokopedia. They are coming from different companies but most have arrived. I was very skeptical about ordering online but it worked, and I was able to pay through Alphamart in cash. No I don’t use Facebook. It was invented by big brother to gather information about you and all your friends. It is an ingenious way and everyone falls for it. I looked at the website you sent and it’s mostly fruit. Idep said that Bali Buddha, and Pizza bagus have seed stock, but I checked about a month ago and it was a sad selection. When I come to Ubud, I will look again. I really appreciate you and all the others that offer to help. This world needs a lot more of this compassion for others. Keep it up. It’s a struggle but good karma.
