Hi everyone, I am new to the forum, and am in need for a source to buy vegetable seeds. I went to Bali garden center, and got some awhile ago but they have closed or just don’t respond now I went to Bali Buddha and pizza bagus in Ubud and they have only a pitiful amount from Idep. I would like to make a large order and have them shipped to Padangbai, COD. If I have to I could make a trip to Denpasar or Kuta. It is too bad Most Bali people are not interested. I think during these stressful times it is a perfect time to grow your own food, even if it’s only a small amount in pots or whatever. Anyway if anyone can help me, Please do. Thanks, Dennis

Are you familiar with Shopee or Tokopedia? These are online shopping operations similar to Amazon, and frequently provide products difficult to locate otherwise.

Yes I looked at Tokopedia but they had packages that were imported got really high prices. I will look at shopkeepers next.. I would like to find a store in Bali that has a good selection and can ship to Padangbai if possible, or go directly to there shop. Thanks, Dennis

Got lots of seeds from Tokopedia - search for suppliers here on Bali or at least get all your seed from one supplier and then the postage (usually IDR30k) is the same for the whole lot. Weren't that expensive last time I bought a couple of months ago...

Hi I tried now to look for vegetable seeds and they only show me a few give a tokopedia link to see all their selection

Thanks for the tip about location in Tokopedia Spicy. I use Tokopedia frequently but had not found that location option.

I keep trying to find vegetable seeds on tokopedia it’s not easy. If someone knows how too send the info. I looked at shoppee and they have a good selection but It’s difficult to find my cart and pay with Visa. Everyone makes it so hard. They want you to have a damn smartphone and what’sapp. I don’t want any of this crap. I just:want to grow food. The fact is Bali folks aren’t gardeners, so there is not much demand for garden supplies. So if someone has this figured out please help us struggling buffoons. Thanks, Dennis

Padangbai Dennis, Spicy searched for benih sayuran which works well. Try that.

Hello, thank you for sending that link. I open it and put many seeds in the cart, but when I tried to pay, It opened a new address window and I filled out all the info except the district line would not open so it would let me finish the order. Help

I ordered a lot of seeds and when I went to the checkout window and filled out the new address window It would not open the district line so it wouldn’t let me complete the process. If anyone can help please do. Thanks, Dennis

Considering the age of some people on this forum Markit, have to agree. That was a dick move. But those of us who have been around here a while know what you're like, guessing you had a few beers in ya? OP if you want some help ordering if you were prepared to install teamviewer I could happily help and ad to cart for you and check out for you if you wish so you can pay it at Circle K or Alphamart etc. As someone who has worked with these platforms as both a buyer and selling in english language, even I found tokopedia a bitch at first.
