It's all kicking off in Vic and NSW now, with the 2nd round stuff.
By "kicking off" do you mean hospitals are stuffed to the brim with chronic COVID cases and people are dropping like flies or is your government simply just testing more and as a result, are recording more cases (symptomatic or not)?
I'm curious. Do know what the trend for deaths looks like in Victoria since COVID first started in Australia? Oh, wait, nevermind. I have the info on hand right here:
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-03-17/coronavirus-cases-data-reveals-how-covid-19-spreads-in-australia/12060704?nw=0#deaths
Wow, a shocking 104 deaths in Australia and the trend has drastically decreased since April. Definitely good reason to lock down the country for sure.
104 deaths. I think 104 people died from car accidents during the time I take my morning shit every day. Probably a lot more though.
Also, anyone know the total number of COVID Cases and deaths in the world right now? No worries. I got that information too. As of today, we have:
10.89 Million Cases
520,066 total deaths
5.54 million recoveries so far.
Hmm, that's strange. In 2019, the common flu caused up to 5 million cases of severe illness worldwide and killed up to 650,000 people (that's every year) according to the
World Health Organization. Maybe I was a bit too much on the piss last year but I don't remember any lockdown for the flu killing 650,000 people last year.
Maybe you guys can refresh my memory?
