UBUD – Cost of Good Internet Connection

Hello forum members,

Can anyone advise what is the cost of a new internet connection? Initial setup and monthly charges. Is a SIM card a better choice than a wired/satellite connection? I don’t download movies, but I want a reasonable speed so I can skype and do assorted digital nomad stuff. Is it likely to be more than AUD $100/USD $65 per month? The location is within 500m of Jl. Raya Ubud – not too far from the Ubud Clinic.
