Problems with savings in LPD

It seems like some people are having trouble getting their money out of LPDs, which is probably not a surprise.

Kind of surprising though that people didn't pull their money out at the start of the pandemic.

I spoke to a driver who said he hides whenever the repo man visits his house and he hasn't made a payment for over a year. I am sure there are thousands like him across Bali.

LPD = Lembaga Perkreditan Desa

Community banks that at least used to give a decent rate of return with all the risk of having no backing from the government.

As in LPD account, higher authority has more access so If you want to cash out from LPD account, then you should follow some little complicated protocols.
