Looking for any tips of what to see and where to go on Kalimantan island after all the virus lockdowns have ended.

Particularly interested in any tips you might have on:
a) getting to and from Kalimantan on Indo ferries, probably from Surabaya but Benoa or Lombok also good - would love to go to Balikpapan do a clockwise tour ending in Sabah Malaysia in the north
b) OR land in Pontianak and clockwise tour from there.
c) which (local to Kalimantan) ferry companies can be recommended for local and long range use
d) what particular points of interest to the leisurely tourist can be recommended?
e) roads NOT recommended to use
f) any difficulties with crossing to Brunei or Malaysia with bikes (we have the Indo bike paperwork for traveling) ?
g) what to avoid

Thanks in advance and hoping for a soon ending to the lock down.
