Owning a motor bike

I have been living in Bali for 3 years and have a KITAS. In this time I have purchased 2 new motor bikes ............. No problem. Now I am told by the people at Astra that I can't buy a new bike with a KITAS. Apa ??????

Is it just me or is it getting more and more difficult to stay here? I seem to hear daily reports of this minor law change and that small difference to some idiotic regulation.

correct back in mid January the laws changed. basically you need a KTP to own a vehicle.
also changed was any KTP holde can pay the "taxes" on a vehicle.


and some people still think RI will let foriegners own land outright

Best way is get a trusted local friend to.

then they should use what god gave them and use the Ktp

there are so many ways around most things .
