Witness the armchairs of the picture. They are made of injected moulding plastic which was only invented after WW2.... in the late 1940s....in the USA. ....
Wikipedia has John Wesley Hyatt patenting a machine in 1972, and talks of widespred use in the 1940s.

Thanks for spending the time to search ronb. So I looked up wiki but it says John Wesley Hyatt died 10 May 1920...hardly likely he patented anything in 1972 except....maybe...formaldehydrate...:icon_wink:

In any event I think a guy called Parkes was attributed with making plastic...I agree it was extensively used during the 1940's, particularly due to the war effort, but my post is about moulded arms on a barbers chair in Bali...:icon_idea:

If you are female I will happily help look in your drawers.
However if you are male we will leave that to Markit because he likes that type of thing.

WTF? Is this another "Ozzy thing"?

Help me out here but "drawers" are what you find in a piece of wood in your bedroom (calm down Ron - it's only a room).

OIH (what does that actually mean?) when you ask about posts - this is a picture thread.

That means it's full of pictures.

If you demand text then fecking Ranki will feel obliged to add his tuppence worth too.

Trust me his pictures are bad enough. Most were taken last week and filtered with his dodgy Iphone to look like 2 weeks old.

If you have some real photos from "old Bali" that would be wonderful.
