The annual Ogoh Ogoh parade the night before Nyepi is the biggest night of the year in Bali. Communities throughout the island work for months in advance to build intricate "monsters" to parade through the street. These fantastic creations symbolize bad spirits that are chased of the island every year, the night before Nyepi. Nyepi marks the New Year in the Balinese calender and is a day of silence and reflection. No one is allowed on the streets, no lights are to be turned on, and even the airport is closed for 24 hours. If you have never experienced the Ogoh Ogoh festival before, we documented this years Parade in Sanur, Bali. If you like the video please like and subscribe to our channel.
