Two days back in a moment of madness I thought I may go visit Markit. I rang him and said "I am coming your way". His American accent is hard to understand but I heard him say something about "a cough" before the phone went dead. Not to be deterred I rang him back and said "I have cheese and I am coming your way on Thursday". Luckily this time the phone reception was clear.
I rang my good mate Rangi, who actually speaks English even though his is a Kiwi. I mentioned going to visit Markit. He mentioned the same "are cough" before his phone went dead. I rang him back and he politely said "listen fool do you think I want to hang out with you and Markit rather with my girlfriend Rosie". I conceded that he had a good point.
Rosie is beautiful with a great body, magnificent legs and a nice set of ......oops I have digressed but I assume you get the idea.
So I phoned my other great mate Davita, sadly the battery was flat on his phone, he was asleep or out looking for his IMB. I do know which one but he never got back to me.
So here I am loaded up with cheese, beer, salami, roasted pork belly slices, bell peppers stuffed with feta cheese and olives stuffed with anchovies. Plus fresh bread, tomato, onions, fresh basil and anchovies to make a bit of bruschetta. I am ready to go to the cave.
Markit has been taking charisma lessons from Davita so he tells me that he does not like anchovies and bruschetta is just toast with some crap on top.
So all is changed, tomorrow morning I am heading off with raw dog bones.

Please accept my apologies for not answering your call...I usually take a senior nap from around 1 -5pm then my wife wakes me up for cocktail-time....Also, sorry cannot make tomorrow as I'll be at the Siloam Hospital getting a vaccination for this 'Boccincini' virus I heard was in town.

It's a pity as I love anchovies and could have brought my fresh stock of Rutherford and Meyer NZ Quince:kiwi-fruit:...which goes very well on top of bruschetta coupled with a small slice of a smelly cheese.:icon_razz:

Bastards!
I'm sitting here eating MRTE's (Meals Ready To Eat) it says Franks and Beans on the label but one of our Gallic colleagues claims eating the the canister would be preferable to the contents.
Back in Singapore on Saturday so it will be 'Death by Cheese' and probably strong cider.

Our favourite Ebola Pinup girl!

Send a picture and bring some cheese from Singa and who knows you might be the next lucky winner of a festive Balipod event (term covers everything from group eye testing to Viagra line snorting contests).

The anchovies are still here, call around. I have cold beer as well. Plus Kilkenny.
