Is there a preferred/more reliable phone/Internet provider in Bali?

We are new to Indonesia (not Asia) just wanted some insight as to the best company to go with for a mobile phone and Internet plan?

If you are asking "is there a reliable providr?" The short answer is "no". Of the mobile phone companies Tekomsel (Simpati) has best coverage and is most expensive. Smartfren has cheapest downloads but is not very reliable. In between is 3 - I find them to be good..

Telkomsel has better phone coverage but XL has better internet connection speed around Bali
