Does anyone know if a photocopy of a local's KTP is enough to board a domestic flight?

I'm sure there is no simple answer. Some checkin clerks will accept anything or even nothing, while others may be picky.

I agree Ron but its not only the check in staff but airport security in Bali at the top of the esclator. I did once think of trying to show my photo license but got cold feet in UK no problem.

Well it seems like there wasn't a problem. Kind of scary really with security so lax. The reason he didn't have his KTP was because his landlord was holding it as security for non-payment of his kos.

He departed ok. Will he be as lucky returning from where he is now? Or perhaps he is in his ktp issue location and apply for new ktp (current lost, stolen) and find new kost in Bali , lol.
