Did I screw up my bookmarks and suddenly get the OzzyPod?

The only thing that makes it at all newsworthy is that there is Sweet FA else happening (ever!?) in your country and why does every T,D and H suddenly find it important to openly commiserate with everyone that gets offed?

Hell, yesterday in Pennsylvania 6+ got murdered by their idiot relative, so what? Ho Hum.. people die all the time - it's what we do.

Of the 7-8 billion now on the planet they are all going to die, usually badly.... ho hum.

Secret is to live somewhere where getting murdered isn't quite so likely. Like Bali? Hmmm guess there's still a travel warning out about Bali isn't there?

Wonder if they'll do one now for Oz?

Not fecking likely.

Have a day

How about news of Indonesia ?

all with in last week or 2

At least 51 people are now known to have died from a mudslide that engulfed a village in Indonesia.

More than 50 people are still missing from Friday's incident in Jemblung village on the island of Java.
Hundreds of rescuers have been digging through mud and wreckage, searching for survivors.

no mention of any of these

1. Whilst everyone can commiserate with the deaths and injury created by the deranged Iranian refugee, out on bail in Sydney...it's also relevant to RI because it gives the Australian Gov't more ammunition to insist on its 'prevent refugee's from reaching our shores policy'.
So Indonesian Gov't should think about what to do with those transiting refugees getting stuck in Indonesia.

2. In addition to the disaster in Central Java there's also news from Bali Discovery that 2 Harley Davidson drivers died in accidents. I didn't see that report, including the Governors reprimand, elsewhere....

"Criticized from many quarters, including reprimands from Bali’s Governor for arrogant behavior when traveling Bali’s roads, a convoy of “big bikes” traveling across Bali has claimed the life of one of the motorcyclists on Sunday, November 30, 2014.
Killed while riding his Harley Davidson was Kadek Putra Negara (43) in the Sempidi area of Bali, not far from the Regent’s office complex.
The accident occurred at 4:20 p.m. when Negara’s motorcycle slipped while negotiating a corner putting the man’s body in the path on an oncoming truck. The accident took place in heavy rain when, according to DenPost, a group of 15 riders were traveling from the north on Jalan Raya Sempidi. Negara’s bike slipped sending his body into the oncoming lane where a truck drove over the man’s body.
While Kadek Putra Negara’s head was not crushed by the oncoming truck due to the protection afforded by a helmet, his neck was broken in the accident leaving him dead at the scene.
The truck and driver that collided with Negara reportedly fled the scene.
The group of 15 “big bike” riders was returning from an outing to Baturiti Village in Tabanan, West Bali. The police did not provide an escort for the group at the time of the accident."

Another Harley Accident....

"A separate accident on Saturday, December 6, 2014, claimed the life of Ferry Koedrat (43) who died while driving his Harley Davidson "big bike" near Kerambitan, West Bali.
The man, from Bandung, West Java, suffered massive and instant fatal head injuries when he tried to overtake a vehicle and struck a truck head on.
The man was declared dead at the scene."

Drove a harley myself for a couple of years...beautiful bike but I realized that Bali is not made for these big bikes. here u need PATIENCE...
and it's difficult to stuck between cars sitting on a hot engine in warm clothes - can't overtake cause there is no SPACE (perhaps for lil scooters)
and on top I have to admit these guys driving like a**holes (I was thinking the same when I was driving with them in the convoy) it's dangerous...
my fellow next to me got killed near Pekutatan ... same story .. too fast in the corner and then - surprise - there was suddenly a truck on the right lane
How could there be a truck not stopping for me - a harley driver?

lets not forget about the 8 year old hit by a vehicle which did not stop. youth later died in hospital and thru polise investigation the plates belong to another type of vehicle. driver and vehicle still not found yet.

been on several group rides some with and without polise escorts.rides varied and so did the rides that had very little "ride time"(more for a status symbol)to those that had experience and rode properly and carefully as you woyld elsewhere in the world.
