I woke up tonight at 1:45 am because I felt a small earthquake, did you feel it?

Not in the North. But, there was one here about 6-8 weeks ago, during the day. It literally rocked the house side to side enough to see it happening clearly. I was very surprised. Then I went into the kitchen and the large drinking water container - the water was still sloshing around inside it, after about a minute from the quake.

Then Rinjani went off.

Perhaps we are in for more of this.

Raung. Tremor in North Bali. Rinjani. I don't like the tectonic 'line up'.

On the nose! Draw a straight line between Rinjani and Raung and it goes right through all our "home" volcanos including Agung!

Surely we aren't going to get a destructive earthquake soon here...I already made my contribution to the Banjar...I thought part of that money was to ensure against stuff like that. Anyway, our maid blesses our house everyday so I feel confident...same as the car when it becomes that time on their calendar.
However, today being election day we gave the maid the day-off, maybe all that holy stuff is cancelled...till tomorrow.
Think I'll go to the pub....and do my own praying.
