Does anyone know if it is possible?
I would doubt if they would be any different than other professions/trades/skills in that the prevailing philosophy seems to be that if it is found here among Indonesians it is deemed competition to them and Indonesians must be hired first. I have seen signs for acupuncturists in Bali, and assumed that they were native practitioners.
Sorry that this was probably nothing new informationally, especially concerning acupuncture since it has been of help to me in the past, but it wasn't performed here.

I'm not so sure that foreign acupuncturists/chiropractors come under the Ministry of Manpower jobs available for foreigners.

I recall a couple of years ago, or less, when some foreign chiropractors were caught abusing their work permits...I think they were allowed to be Directors of their Companies but not permitted to actually perform chiropractics.
